Greiner (Joseph E. Chavez)
Joseph E. Chavez, beloved son of Paul J. Greiner of Franklinville,
NY and Sharon (Chavez) Paulowsky of Las Cruces, NM died suddenly
February 4, 2009 in Las Cruces, NM. Joe was born “Joseph Paul
Greiner” on April 1, 1972 in Las Cruces and lived most of his life
there. Joe was a builder, an excellent carpenter, and a talented
concrete worker. Joe was in the process of obtaining his contractors
license before his tragic death.
Joe has two paternal brothers, Paul J. Greiner (age 30) of North
Tonawanda, NY and Jamie P. Greiner (age 13) of Franklinville, NY. He
also has a maternal brother, Vincent Chavez who lives in Arizona.
Joe stayed connected to his extended family in western NY throughout
his lifetime. He was loved by all of us who knew him. He is survived
by April (Greiner) Harrington and Bill Harrington of Lockport, NY,
Joseph Greiner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Suzette (Greiner) Roth and Mark
Roth of Palm Harbor, FL, Brenda Cavalieri of Lexington, SC.,
Christine Greiner of Crystal Lake, IL, and many cousins and second
cousins.
Joe was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Louis H. and Betty M.
Greiner, his Aunt Betty Lou (Greiner) Smart of Niagara Falls, NY,
his Aunt Paula (Greiner) Longboat of Lockport, NY, his Uncle Louie
P. Greiner of Crystal Lake, IL.
Joe will be sadly missed by his Dad and
Mother, his brothers, and his entire family here in NY and by the
Chavez family in New Mexico.
